Patio Party - Monday, June 21

Dress in white and party all night! Bring your comfortable clothes and dancing shoes to the CACUSS Patio Party & barbecue. There will be almost 19 hours of daylight on June 21st in Edmonton. Come celebrate the summer solstice and National Aboriginal Day in QUAD. Be ready to dance the night away!

Explore Edmonton - Tuesday, June 22

Tuesday will provide delegates with an opportunity to explore the city that we call home. The capital of Alberta, and nick-named The Festival City, Edmonton offers a wide variety of activities for you to enjoy. Take a stroll through our scenic river valley; the longest stretch of connected urban parkland in North America. Visit North America's largest mall, housing a giant water park, a man-made lake, a skating rink, a mini-golf courses, an indoor paintball course, 21 movie theatres, a Vegas-style casino and an amusement park… and don't forget outstanding shopping. Experience our vibrant music and art community with a visit to the new world class Art Gallery of Alberta, an architectural work of art inspired by the aurora borealis and natural beauty of Alberta. Enjoy a play in the theatre district of historic Old Strathcona, also home to the infamous Whyte Avenue. With so many things to see and do, you'll be grateful Edmonton's summer solstice sees over 17 hours of sunlight. For more information on these and other exciting activities see the Explore Edmonton desk available throughout the conference.

Closing Banquet - Wednesday, June 23

The CACUSS 2010 closing banquet will be an elegant evening to remember. Perched on the edge of Edmonton's picturesque river valley, the Shaw Conference Centre offers a panoramic view of North America's largest urban park and its treasures.

Come "dressed in your best" with your dancing shoes on for this semi-formal affair. The evening will include a feast offering traditional Alberta cuisine and music from the swingin' sixties, solid gold seventies, and electric eighties provided by The Top Ten Show and Revue - a local Edmonton band that is arguably the best in Western Canada!

We will also get a sneak peak of what CACUSS 2011 has in store for us at Ryerson University in Toronto!
